Caterpillar Surface Ripper. Part number 4R9538. These were designed for use with a D7 combat bulldozer. The US Army and USMC had these rippers designed and added in 1991 to be used as a long-length landmine rake. They are made of 1/2″ steel measure about 35″ long, and about 12″ wide at the widest point. They have a 1/2″ pin approx 4″ long, and a 1/2″ diameter hole for mounting.  NSN 3830-01-507-5644.
