ex-military test bench BLOWER ASSEMBLY 2A2A15 (1) This is made to mount in a stand 19″ electronic computer rack and can be used to cool computers electronic equipment etc. Includes a cleanable metal mesh intake filter to keep dirt out. We have used on of these a blower for our shop to keep cool while working. A very nice high quality item that the Government paid big bucks for that you can save here The blower assembly (McLean “Sidewinder” model 1EB980B) consists of a chassis frame, a two-speed (rubber shock mounted) motor, a reusable aluminum mesh air filter and grill. The filter is positioned in front of the blower and held in place by a grill secured to the chassis frame by two captive nuts. A power cable protrudes from the right side of the blower assembly and connects to a power receptacle on plug mold number two (cable assembly 2A2W2A2). A ground lead, installed on the right side is connected to the test console test bench cabinet. A two-position slide switch (up position – high speed, down position – low speed), mounted on the right side, is only accessible when the blower assembly is partially removed from its installed position. The switch must always be set to the high speed position to provide maximum air output. (2) The purpose of the blower assembly is to stabilize cabinet temperature by providing a continuous air flow around the electronic assemblies.
